6 pieces of chopped raw broccoli


homemade or bought hummus



Chop vegetables of choice into pieces – celery stalk into celery sticks and carrot into carrot sticks. Chop other raw vegetables of choice – capsicum, cucumber or others. All vegetables are yummy dipped into hummus. Dip vegetables into hummus and enjoy this quick and easy snack!

  1. How do you make a really healthy hummus and what are the ingredients?

    I am trying to lose weight and I thought I would have hummus with whole wheat pita bread, turkey, & lettuce.

  2. A lovely healthy hummus is quite easy to make.

    Canned chick peas strained
    1 clove of garlic
    2 tsp Olive oil
    1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice

    Food process or crush chick peas into a puree. Add all other ingredients and mix together until well combined. This is quite a good mixture to put with other ingredients for a healthy snack!Your pita bread sounds delicious 🙂
