Whole-grain French Toast

A healthy alternative to a delicious favourite!

 

 

 

Ingredients

4 egg whites

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

4 slices of whole-grain bread

topping: maple syrup & blueberries & strawberries

 

 

 

Preparation

1. In a shallow pan combine egg whites, vanilla extract & syrup

2. Place 2 slices of bread into the pan & flip so both sides are coated with ingredients

3. Cook on the pan until brown and golden

4. Serve on a plate & drizzle syrup and fruit & enjoy!
